- Can someone remove the watermark I add?
- A determined person with the right software can, because a watermark is drawn onto the page rather than locked to it. Treat it as a clear statement of ownership and a deterrent against casual reuse, not as copy protection.
- How do I make the watermark subtle enough to read through?
- Lower the opacity to around 15–25% and set it diagonally across the page. It stays legible in a screenshot while leaving the text underneath comfortable to read.
- Can I use my logo instead of text?
- Yes — an image watermark works the same way, with its own opacity, scale and position. A PNG with a transparent background sits on the page far more cleanly than a JPG.
- Will the watermark appear on every page?
- By default it is applied to the whole document. You can restrict it to a page range when only the sample pages of a document need marking.
